Production of plastic blocks for shoe lasts

Production and sale of regenerated and/or re-granulated plastic materials

Camont Srl has been involved in the processing of plastic products since 1984; Among these, the production of plastic blocks for shoe lasts is peculiar.
For this production, mainly aimed at last factories, Camont Srl is an international leader capable of satisfying all the needs of its customers, both for the different qualities of plastic and products offered, the result of extensive many years of experience, and for the quality and variety of molds available.
Equipped with all legal authorizations, Camont srl also deals with the recovery and treatment of non-hazardous special waste of industrial origin which is transformed into ground and/or plastic granulates and used, as raw material, in the production of molds for footwear.
Since its establishment (it was 1984 and at the time our name was Centro Abbozzi srl) the activity was based on this system dictated, at that time, by reasons of economy and common sense, unaware of the fact that, for a long time later, it would be better coded as “circular economy” and environmental sustainability.
The objective has always been to minimize the environmental impact linked to the production of sketches, and at the same time limit the use of primary resources for their production.
By equipping ourselves with the best practices and structures in the recovery and recycling of obsolete industrial products (in this case plastic lasts for footwear that are no longer usable) and their related production waste, we have obtained total neutrality between the quantities we produce and placed on the market and those recovered.
These operations can be identified in two main phases, which are:
1) the collection from the last factories of all plastic scraps deriving from the industrial operations carried out on the molds by the last factory in order to obtain shoe lasts,
2) The collection of “disused” plastic lasts from shoe factories once they have reached the end of their usefulness.
The plastic waste described above, through processing in specific systems designed by us, is returned to primary materials (ground or granules) more suitable for processing and ready to be used in our production cycle. This circular economy system, where nothing is destroyed but everything is transformed, makes our activity extremely virtuous, thus guaranteeing us the continuity of supply of fundamental materials for the production of plastic molds and therefore of lasts for footwear and controlling the prices thereof.
As regards eco-sustainability, our long-term goal is to be even more ambitious, creating a model that can inspire all companies involved in this specific segment of the footwear supply chain to follow us and consequently create an even more circular economy system. wider.
